What is Pupil Premium?
'The pupil premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. The pupil premium is rising to £1.875 billion in 2013-2014, with schools attracting £900 per disadvantaged child.' - (Department for Education)
Pupil Premium is paid for a child who is currently recieving Free School Meals, or has recieved Free School Meals in the last 6 years.
The funding is used to support the school in raising attainment and to provide activities that will enrich our most vulnerable pupils.
