Year 5 attended OLHS as part of their Super Scientists topic. Their job was to find out who was a suspect for the robbery of laptops at a local community centre. They had to gather evidence and use equipment (ink, filter paper, magnet, wand) to trace finger prints, footprints and interview suspects.
Children used their own prints to identify the 3 types of finger prints: whorl, arch and loop.
On Wednesday 17th October we celebrated the children's work by hosting an Art Exhibition in our school halls. We invited friends and family of all children to share this fabulous experience with us.

Year 5 were invited to Our Lady's Play in a Day drama session based on their topic from Autumn 2 on the Egyptians.
They had one day to learn, rehearse and perform to an audience.
Year 5 led the Stations of the Cross during Holy week. The children fully enjoyed practicing and leading the ceremony in front of KS2. Well done to all involved!
