Salary: £18,933 rising to £19,698 pro-rata term time only,
ie £15,794 rising to £16,811 per annum
Full time 35 hours per week Term Time Only
The Governors of St. Clare’s R.C. Primary School are looking to recruit an Administration Officer to work alongside the School Administrator in the main office.
Applicants must have excellent levels of numeracy and literacy in order to be able to provide accuracy and a high quality of support to the efficient running of the School. Some knowledge of Capita SIMS and FSM would be desirable. Candidates must be able to multi-task, demonstrate tact and diplomacy and respect confidentiality and the principles of GDPR. We are looking for someone with a commitment to working well within a small team and who is willing to be flexible as each day demands. Excellent attendance and a can-do approach are both vital, as well as an ability to think ahead and work as part of a friendly team.
This role is varied and will change depending on the time of year or day but will include the setting up of breakfast and after school clubs, handling all visitors to the school, receiving telephone calls and directing callers, managing post in and out of the school, recording school meals and updating admissions records.

Hours of work are 35 per week over 5 days, 8.30am to 4pm each day with a 30 minute break. These may be subject to change in the future depending on the needs of the School. If any changes are to be made, the working day will be within core hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm. Any change would be notified in writing and in advance.
