Design and Technology Overview

Year 5 - Cooking

Year 5 spent the day at Our Lady's High School and finished out Reversible and Irreversible changes in cooking unit. We used one of the Home Economics classrooms and all of the fantastic equipment! We made fruit kebabs and thought about which changes happen while preparing. 

Year 3- Volcanoes

Year 3 have been busy creating volcanoes using plastic bottles and clay! They then evaluated their design and thought about how it could be improved.

Year 6- Baking

Year 6 had fun applying their baking skills to making their own Easter themed cakes. They look delicious!

Year 3- Healthy Eating

Year 3 have been learning all about seasonality and where our food comes from. They used their knowledge to design and make their own healthy snacks!

Year 2- Fruit Kebabs

Year 2 have been learning all about the importance of eating a balanced diet. They enjoyed designing and making their own healthy snacks!
