6H Trip to OLHS

6H had an absolutely fantastic time at OLHS today, taking part in an Electricity Workshop. They started by making a human model of a circuit, which was a brilliant way of them gaining an understanding of how currents of electricity travel.

They were then fortunate enough to use some amazing equipment to make a range of different circuits. Pupils really impressed us with their knowledge, knowing that to make a bulb brighter they should add in an extra cell, and predicting that when you add an extra bulb, they would both go dimmer.

Pupils learnt a lot and really enjoyed exploring science in a full and practical way!
