After months of work and careful planning, our school library was formally re-opened this morning by 2 of our pupils - one from Y3 and the other from Y6. It has been a long wait but the finished work is something pupils are sure to treasure for many years to come. For the opening, the children were joined by Brother Paul and Mr Collins (Chair of Governors) as well as a number of staff. Every child will get to visit this bright new space for the first time next week and hopefully pupils will be able to enjoy it for many years to come. Mrs O'Keefe has driven the project along from the very beginning and it is a shame that she was unable to be there for the opening. She would have been incredibly proud. Pupils and reading are central to life at St Clare's and our new library nicely brings them together. All we need to do now is to get the books back in!
