Miss Chisholm taught at St Clare's and left us last year to continue her teaching career in Dubai. Many of us woke up to the tragic news at the weekend that she had sustained severe injuries following a horse riding accident in Dubai the day before her birthday. Miss Chisholm's mother continues to be by her bedside in Dubai as she battles a very difficult and long recovery. Her mum is desperately trying to raise £60,000 to finance the medical bill in Dubai and a medical flight to bring her daughter home. Miss Chisholm is still very much part of our St Clare's Family and she needs our help to bring her home for her to continue her recovery in the UK with her family. As you may already be aware, we have organised a sponsored walk on Thursday 23rd May to help raise as much funds as we possibly can to ensure Miss Chisholm returns home safely. You may also want to donate via the GoFundMe page where all of the proceeds from the walk on Thursday will be sent to which will go directly to Miss Chisholm's family https://www.gofundme.com/help-bring-critically-ill-daughter-home-from-dubai We are overwhelmed with the generosity and kindness of all of you and we'd like to thank you all for your unbelievable efforts in supporting Miss Chisholm and her family come to terms with such a difficult and devastating time.
