Lent in nursery

Nursery have been learning all about the very important time of Lent.  We know this is a time of year when we think about Jesus and how hard it was for Him in the desert.  We know we are counting down the days until Easter when we celebrate Jesus rising.  Nursery have made some Lenten promises of things they are going to try to give up during the Lent period.  We have also made an "Act of kindness" box where each we day, we select one of the acts of kindness (such as smile at everyone you see) and try our best to fulfil it.  We will spend lots of time reflecting and thanking Jesus during Lent and trying to walk in His footsteps.
