As we approach the month of Remembrance and reflect on the sad loss of so many during wars and conflicts down the years, we will be selling poppies to pupils and discussing the the meaning and history of this November symbol.   Of course, we had our very own poppy lady in Bertha and this will be a time when we remember her in both our thoughts and our prayers.   Throughout November, please encourage your child to buy a poppy at school.
