It is 1945 in one of our Y6 classes and pupils have pooled their ration coupons to hold a small and respectable celebration to commemorate the end of the dark days of war. Glad to have made it through, they were in fine voice with a rendtion of 'I've got sixpence' with Mrs Jones, their landlady for the afternoon.
