This afternoon the children at St Clare's were lucky enough to have a very special visitor come to our school.
Nick Carter held an inspirational assembly for both KS1 and KS2 and shared his experience of his adventures and challenges that he has been on so far. These included challenges such as climbing Mount Everest and running from the top of the UK to the bottom, covering a staggering 874 miles!
The children in Year 3 have already taken part in one of Nick's competitions and have come up with some names for his van which he used as his home for himself, his wife and his baby to travel when he is running.
We are keeping our fingers crossed as there are some spectacular prizes to be won!
Good luck Year 3!
